Queens University
“Attending Neocon for the first time was an incredible experience. Representing Queens at the IIDA Student Charette challenged me to collaborate with a team I had just met to create and present a full design concept in a single day. The experience showed me how quickly and effectively I can ideate, collaborate, and produce well- developed conceptual work when the pressure of a time limit forces me to set aside perfectionism. My teammates were awesome and we had a lot of fun working together. Touring the Miller Knoll showrooms at Fulton Market also gave me a fresh perspective on design innovations, both classic and new, that enhance user experience in workplace settings. The trip deepened my understanding of design and highlighted how creativity and collaboration come together in the professional world.”
