The sPARK Life Science (LS) Campus transforms 102 acres of privately-owned land into a dynamic, community-focused life science hub. Reflecting the landowners’ vision to convert their heritage property into a landmark development, the campus emerges as a nexus for innovation and community. Designed as a self-sustaining ecosystem, the campus caters to life science companies from emerging startups to established commercial giants. The comprehensive plan includes 10 buildings with offices, laboratories, and biotech manufacturing facilities, transcending the traditional business park model to nurture both current and aspiring science professionals.

Anchoring the campus is the AXIS building, a multi-functional amenities center designed to serve employees and visitors while fulfilling the client’s vision for a dynamic environment that enriches users both professionally and personally. Collaborating closely with the owner, the design team developed a program that allows the building to perform at the highest level, offering spaces for personal reflection and relaxation, small-group collaboration and team building, as well as large-scale seminars and presentations. Guided by a hospitality mindset, the AXIS building provides experiences that engage mind, body, and soul, enhancing the daily rhythms of campus life.
