Since 1924, Renfro has been and continues to be a hub for innovation in the textiles industry. As they grow into a new chapter, their forthcoming headquarters, now located in Downtown Winston-Salem, needed to express the company’s history and modern trajectory. Renfro’s existing headquarters in Mt. Airy, NC house a manufacturing facility where rooms are filled with knitting machines pulling vibrant, colorful yarn down from spools suspended overhead. The central column element within the lobby of their new headquarters draws inspiration from these manufacturing processes and signifies that the company’s facilities, both at home and abroad, are all connected.
