This medical practice’s goal for this project was to establish a new brand, VISTA, for their elective procedures such as “Cool Sculpting” and other specialty services and products. This addition was designed to connect the legacy medical practice with the new VISTA brand as a progressive, contemporary, clean, and comfortable space for patients.
The project challenges included designing the new space and renovating public areas in the existing offices to visually connect the two. This was achieved by establishing a color palette for the new space that would transition through the older building. We selected flooring, wall finishes and new in warm and cool neutrals with pops of blue to tie into their VISTA logo.
Our goals for the lobby were to create an inviting, well-appointed space consistent with the quality of services offered. We designed the floor patterns to mimic the curves of the ceiling and the logo. We reinforced this design element by selecting seating with classic curved lines. The Lobby seating creates a living room feel yet is accessible to a variety of age groups and abilities. Treatment rooms have upgraded finishes and warm, neutral to complement skin tones. The project designer was influenced by a trip to Iceland with its unique landscape, thermal pools and emphasis on comfort and natural healing. Influences from that trip are evident in the use of warm, aged wood tones, brilliant blue accent colors, natural textures such as the real slate veneer on the Reception Desk and Scandinavian influenced furniture styles.
