LendingTree is an online loan marketplace company with a desire to create a unique headquarter space based in Charlotte, NC’s Vantage South End. Their overall goal was to create an environment where employees were excited to come to work and a community that fostered LendingTree’s entrepreneurial, fun, and dynamic culture.

The design of the 6 story, 176,000 Square foot space was led with a resimercial aesthetic, merging together the hospitality features of a corporate office space with the design elements of a residential environment. The furniture was curated from over 100 different vendors, allowing the dealer and design teams to layer in variety throughout each space to create unique meeting and amenity spaces on each floor. Several pieces throughout the social environments were custom designed, curated, and manufactured to look like residential furniture, but with the functionality of a commercial space.

This design team knew how unique and exciting this opportunity was and came together to create a one-of-a-kind workplace. LendingTree needed their space to be future-proof, multi-functional, and supportive of all different workstyles. At the same time, be welcoming, comfortable, and community-driven for its employees.

This unique and inviting space proved to be beneficial as employers began exploring ways to entice employees back to the office post pandemic. The LendingTree culture is further exemplified by their new fun, dynamic, environment
