505 Courtland is a vibrant multifamily community in downtown Atlanta featuring a bold and eclectic vibe with lively art throughout. 23,000 square feet of amenities are designed to make life more enjoyable for residents.

Cultural identity is the backbone of this 17-story high-rise located in the SoNo district of downtown Atlanta. 505 Courtland’s expansive collection of local art + custom murals speak to its resident’s perceptions of themselves and their relationship to the world. From schematic design, the design team strived to push the envelope on intriguing and conversation-starting design details to maintain the sense of community in a new-build. Rotating local art gallery walls give notoriety to up-and-coming artists who live in the building. An Instagram-worthy bleacher stair is the feature of the spacious community room that hosts workshops and social events. Work-from-home has a new meaning with the private coworking hub that provides residents with a collaborative and community-oriented environment. There is no one spot at 505 Courtland that serves as a single use or purpose. 505’s design aesthetic merges innovation with convenience and comfort.

From the moment you enter 505 Courtland, there is a creative energy that embraces each person’s unique journey where inclusivity and acceptance thrive. The interior design palette speaks to the soul with bold pops of color accented by a tasteful mixture of patterns and textures. Classic black + white accents balance out the bright + bold designs fusing together two very different styles. Floor-to-ceiling windows let in beams of natural light and fill this colorful open plan amenity package. Unexpected design moments flow throughout every corner of the complex, ranging from unique booth archways to the illuminated hot pink book shelf to dramatic lighting throughout. Custom murals located on the interior and exterior become the talking-point of modern conversation. 505 Courtland is an aesthetic to be remembered.

The design team was challenged with creating a unique, bold, and eclectic space that made prospects feel at home in the neighborhood, regardless of their background or beliefs. 505 Courtland embraces culture and community with its striking design that expounds upon a purposeful amenity programming package. Each space was designed to maximize opportunities for community engagement and a foster a sense of identity and place.
