When TTX, a leading logistics company, decided to relocate its headquarters from Chicago to Charlotte, it was more than a geographical shift—it was a bold step toward the future of the company.

The project began with an intensive visioning phase, led by the design and workplace strategy teams, that prioritized inclusivity and transparency to ensure the new headquarters aligned with evolving organizational needs, the design team surveyed the company’s C-suite, departments, and individual employees to understand how they worked best and their goals for the design. The team used a combination of digital and hands-on tools to gather insights and actively engage TTX leadership and staff. Through this visioning phase, the design team and TTX were able to determine what their new office could look like and how it should operate to support their talent and clients.

The design serves as a catalyst for change, capturing the company’s heritage while setting the stage for future generations of employees.  Every detail—from material choices to spatial organization—was considered to ensure the office not only supports day-to-day operations but also inspires connection, creativity, and growth.
