Dear IIDA Carolinas Chapter Members and Friends,

It is truly an honor to serve as your President of the IIDA Carolinas Chapter this year. As I step into this roll, I am filled with gratitude for the leadership who has come before and all the remarkable accomplishments our chapter has had, along with excitement for what lies ahead for the future of design.

This year, our Chapter will focus on meaningful opportunities for professional development, continue to foster collaboration across disciplines, and advance advocacy efforts that elevate the value and influence of Interior Design throughout the Carolinas. Our vision is rooted in progress and the impact we have that creates a stronger design community together.

When I think about what makes our chapter so special, I think about the relationships built, ideas shared, and the way we support one another in the profession of Interior Design. When we come together across disciplines and experiences, we create something far greater than any one of us could accomplish alone. I believe in the power of design and our Chapter bringing people together to approach new voices and ideas with curiosity. I look forward to the year ahead, learning, evolving, and connecting with you all.

Thank you for being part of this design community and exciting journey ahead!

Megan Hess
